Some of our top leaders over the 25 years we’ve been cruising will join us on six sailings next year, as we celebrating our Silver Anniversary. The itineraries are part of our “Experiences of Discovery” theme cruises. During the six sailings, you’ll have the opportunity to rub elbows with our top brass at commemorative parties and receptions.

Four of the sailings will be our first-ever Captain’s Cruises, where former captains will be aboard to share Crystal memories. Those four cruises, and hosts, include:

April 11, Asia (Hong Kong to Tokyo) with Captain Reidulf Maalen, the captain of our first ship, the Crystal Harmony, when the company began sailing in 1990.

May 4, Southern Trans-Atlantic (Miami to Lisbon) with Captain Glenn Edvardsen, a 21-year Crystal veteran and the youngest Crystal captain when he joined us in 1999.

June 12, Northern Trans-Atlantic (New York to London) with Captain Helge Brudvik, captain of Crystal Symphony in its inaugural year and retired from Crystal since 2000.

December 19, Caribbean/Brazilian Holiday (San Juan to Rio de Janeiro) with Captain John Økland, who retired in 2012 after 15 years with us.

In addition, our annual President’s and Chairman’s voyages will feature added programming and celebrations. Edie Rodriguez, our president and COO, will host the President’s Cruise aboard Crystal Serenity, a 13-day, Western Europe sailing departing July 12. And Nobuyoshi “Nōb” Kuzuya, our chairman, will host the Chairman’s Cruise aboard Crystal Symphony, an 18-day North Cape/Arctic Circle cruise departing July 8.

Crystal’s “Experiences of Discovery” theme cruises throughout 2015 also include three Wine & Food Festival voyages in Asia and in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands, music-focused programming on two trans-Atlantic Ballroom at Sea sailings, a Jazz Cruise down the Pacific Coast, two back-to-back Mediterranean voyages featuring Emerging Artists from the acclaimed Music Center of Los Angeles, a trans-Atlantic Film & Theatre Cruise, and a golf-themed British Isles sailing. Additionally, three segments of the 108-day Silver Celebration World Cruise offer an “Ocean Views” theme, featuring debates and interactive discussion with some of the most knowledgeable world affairs experts of today.

“Book Now” fares for 2015 “Experiences of Discovery” cruises are available through October 31.
