Internationally acclaimed Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will join our Silver Anniversary President’s Cruise in 2015. The sailing will feature special dinners, sake tastings and celebrations that will highlight Nobu’s famous Peruvian-infused Japanese fare, which is served in our ships’ on board Silk Road and The Sushi Bar.
Nobu will join Edie Rodriguez, our president and COO, on this 13-day sailing from Lisbon to London aboard Crystal Serenity. Throughout the voyage, he will share his talents and famously personable panache during cooking demos, book signings and sake tastings with Sake Master Hazu.

Two omakase, or chef’s choice, dinners in Silk Road, with menus by Nobu. Special dishes will include connoisseur ingredients such as toro tuna paired with champagne, as well as rare, specially crafted Hokusetsu “Northern Snow” Sake and Ongaku-shu “Musical Sake.” Each guest who attends one of the $250-per-person dinners will receive a complimentary, signed cookbook and a photo with Nobu.
An extravagant, $1,000-per-guest Ultimate Vintage Room dinner, with a specially designed menu, complete with champagne and wine pairings, for just 14 guests.
Nobu’s Japanese-Peruvian fusion has been served complimentary in Silk Road and The Sushi Bar on board every Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity sailing since 2003 and 2008, respectively. Nobu personally trains all chefs, designs all menus, and frequently visits the ships for ongoing refinement.
