Crystal Mozart

From the expansion of the Crystal fleet to new routes to explore, there are new highlights in store

From the floor-to-ceiling windows and open decks of Crystal River ships, you notice the riverside scenery along the Danube, Rhine, Moselle and Main rolls and changes. It shifts from quaint medieval towns with half-timbered buildings to vineyard-covered hillsides and then again to glittering cities of power and influence. Always changing, yet reliably stunning. Shift your gaze to what’s in store for Crystal River Cruises in 2022 and you’ll find some things have changed in beautifully captivating ways. If you’ve sailed the enchanting rivers of Europe with Crystal River Cruises before, it’s worth another look. If you have not, 2022 is the perfect time to embark on that voyage you’ve had on your wish list for so long.

Tomorrow, new 2022 Crystal Mozart and Crystal Mahler voyages will open for reservations joining the full program of Crystal River Cruises 2022 itineraries promising new views and experiences, with just-announced itineraries that set the spotlight firmly on the rivers’ most extraordinary sites, seasons and events.

Take a peek at what you’ll find along Europe’s rivers in 2022.

Crystal Mozart. Yes, the grand inaugural ship of the Crystal River fleet will sail along the Danube, with her expansive space and no-detail-left-unattended luxuries. Along with her wrap-around promenade deck (the only one found on Europe’s rivers), wide-open top Vista Deck, multiple restaurants for Michelin-inspired dining experiences, wellness pursuits and entertainment, Crystal Mozart will also debut an industry first: 38 suites dedicated for solo guests, sans single supplement. This means more choices for those travelers who prefer to explore independently and more overall space and personalized service for everyone on board.

Harvest in the vineyards. The Mosel Wine Region is magnificent in any light, but the autumn colors on the hillsides bring a particular loveliness to the destinations on the Moselle River. Fall is harvest time here in Germany’s oldest wine region, and Crystal Mahler is the place to be to witness the cultivation for coming vintages. Though Riesling reigns supreme, you’ll also find exceptional Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Elbling, Müller-Thurgau and even some Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Ten-night Splendors of the Rhine & Moselle sailings highlight this season in September and October. Taste it all on 10-night Splendors of the Rhine & Moselle sailings.

Amsterdam’s Expo Floriade, the once-in-a-decade horticultural World’s Fair of sorts returns from April to October of 2022 with a “Growing Green Cities” theme. Every 10 years, the expo transforms the city into a wonderland of conceptual green experiences that invite visitors to become part of nature with exhibitions that innovate sustainable programs for the future. The remarkable display of Floriade takes center stage on Crystal Mahler’s springtime seven-night Tulips & Windmills voyages, adding even more color to the blossoming destinations in Germany and the Netherlands.

Schedule-friendly summertime escapes. Fancy a five-night escape to Europe? Such convenient jaunts aboard Crystal Mahler are an option for even the busiest travelers craving a respite of elegance, culture and Crystal’s exceptional luxury. Rhine & Moselle Summer Escapes are the ideal setting for much-needed time away, for sipping Riesling in Bernkastel, strolling through the iconic avenues of Cologne, exploring the long history of Trier, Germany’s oldest city, or opting to extend your vacation for two indulgent days in Reims, the unofficial capital of the Champagne region of France.

More European Magnificence. Emphasis on more. Those who seek extended journeys of more discoveries, more destinations and more time spent aboard your Crystal home away from home will want to take note of new 14-night Magnificent Europe voyages. These Crystal Mahler sailings combine the grandeur of Cologne, Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava with the quintessential charms of Rüdesheim, Regensburg and other riverside jewels of the Danube, Rhine and Main rivers.

Holiday magic. The dazzling wonderland that is Europe during Christmas and New Year’s is not new, but Crystal River Cruises has set new itineraries for you to enjoy the spectacle. Crystal Mozart explores the magic of Melk, Linz and Aggstein, Austria; Bratsilava, Slovakia; and Esztergom and Budapest, Hungary for Christmas and Hanukkah on a Danube Holiday Wonders cruise, then ventures to Melk, Linz and Dürnstein, Austria and Passau, Germany before spending two nights in Vienna for New Year’s Eve on the Spectacular Danube Holiday cruise.

Spend Holidays on the Rhine aboard Crystal Mahler, exploring Rüdesheim, Cochem, Koblenz, Bernkastel, Trier and Cologne, Germany, with Christmas Eve in Strasbourg, France for a midnight mass and Christmas Day in Mannheim. New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam is a Crystal Family affair, as Crystal Mahler will be joined by sister ship Crystal Bach for a special celebration.

Reservations for Crystal Mozart’s and Crystal Mahler’s 2022 new deployment open March 11. Plan your voyage today and prepare for the newest journeys of a lifetime.
