SNEAK PEEK FROM CRYSTAL SERENITY’S REDESIGN

You Won’t Recognize this Award-Winning Ship

Crystal Serenity departed Lisbon on October 14 with no guests on board, but was nonetheless a hub of activity immediately upon pulling away from the dock. In almost no time at all, expert workers sprang into action as her most dramatic redesign ever – and the countdown to her re-debut – commenced. In the video below, you may not recognize your favorite spaces and places aboard this lovely ship, as verandah staterooms are transformed into Seabreeze Penthouses and Penthouse Suites, Palm Court is a shell of her former self and the Seahorse Pool Deck is an active construction zone.

Crews are hard at work aboard Crystal Serenity

You will, however, recognize Hotel Director Hubert Buelacher, who takes you behind the scenes in this first of a series of video highlights from Crystal Serenity’s dry dock. Once completed on November 9, she will emerge with a sophisticated new look and chic décor; new dining experiences and concepts that will take your palate around the world; technological amenities that will connect you to all facets of your Crystal Experience and the destinations you explore; and more of the butler-serviced Penthouse accommodations you have come to love.

As you’ll see here and in upcoming videos as we count down to the new Crystal Serenity, much is changing.

However, what isn’t changing is our unwavering commitment to Six-Star service and delivering unforgettable luxury travel experiences on board and ashore.

Watch now. Pack later.

I was booked on Serenity to Hawaii for the Holiday cruise, but had to cancel due to a death in the family. Watching this teardown video is heart breaking. I can only hope that the re-build is spectacular and that I can eventually return to my home on the oceans.
